Why is Composting Important?

Did you know that about a ⅓ of food produced around the world goes to waste, and much of it ends up in landfills? Eliminating waste is the easiest solution, but food scraps will always remain.

There is one solution that almost everyone can be a part of, which is composting [your food scraps]. Composting cuts waste, feeds plants, and also helps the planet. Composting is a key to stopping methane from being produced and escaping into our atmosphere.

Climate change rates are increasing quickly, but we are the solution. Simply taking a few extra minutes to put your food waste in the compost [bin] is one step in the right direction. So, are you going to be a part of this ever-growing problem or join the path that will lead us to a healthier planet?
