Small Decisions Can Make A Big Impact

Hello! I’m Sophia and I’m Samantha! We are artists of a painted bins poster entry and are part of the MVMS green team. 

Both of us are very passionate about the earth and would love to share our opinions with you! Taking care of our earth is so vital for our future, and one of the best ways to help is to sort your waste and recycle. Sorting your trash means that more ends up in the right place, which contributes to less climate change. 

Recycling is one form of sorting trash. Things that go in the recycling are not wasted and thrown out, instead they are reused and repurposed into something else. This means less is wasted. 

We think that it was important to participate in the Painted Bins Art Contest because as artists we believe that using imagination, creativity, and talent in an impactful way can do so much for our planet. We want people to learn how even one small decision, such as littering, can impact an animal’s entire life.
